7. Christine - Drag Me To Hell

10 Most Unluckiest Horror Movie Charecters
Universal Pictures

After crossing an old gipsy woman while vying for a promotion, loan officer Christine Brown (Alison Lohman) finds herself a victim of a horrifying curse - learning that she is to be committed to the depths of Hell in a mere three days. The race is on for Christine to break - or pass on - the curse before it's too late.

While Christine isn't entirely blameless in her own untimely end, it's hard not to feel sorry for her as she is tortured by old Ms. Ganush (Lorna Raver) and the armies of hell.

Christine is unlucky enough to end up in this situation in the first place - Ms. Ganush happens to stop by just as she's been told to make some tougher decisions at work - but her bad fortune only snowballs from there. The movie culminates in the ultimate in bad luck - a fateful mix-up with a coin and a button seeing her dragged kicking and screaming all the way to hell after all.
