10 Most Unusual-Looking Actors In Movie History

10. Jackie Earle Haley

Jackie Earle Haley first came to the attention of mainstream audiences following his appearance as Rorschach in Zack Snyder's adaptation of Alan Moore's Watchmen. His was a stand-out performance from the film and earned him much deserved praise from critics and fans alike. Given his gaunt and sinister-looking face it's perhaps not surprising that Haley has played sexual deviants more than once - for his performance as paedophile Ronnie McGorvey in Little Children he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, and later in his career he'd take over from Robert Englund as the most notorious child murder in horror movie history, Freddy Krueger. Ironically, Haley's first brush with Wes Craven's terrifying creation came back in the 1980s when he attended an audition for the first A Nightmare On Elm Street movie with a close friend. That friend was none other than Johnny Depp, who Craven spotted and asked him to read a part.
