10 Most Visually Arresting Moments In The DCEU

1. Into The Speed Force - Zack Snyder's Justice League

From a visual perspective, the Flash’s sheer speed is infused with tiny details such as crackling lightning and blue shifts. These attributes add an almost ethereal yet kinetic feel to the Scarlet Speedster’s rapid movements, and this was most evident in his incredible time travel sequence in the Snyder Cut.

Though the scene may signal a lack of stakes in any film featuring the Flash, it is an awe-inspiring combination of directing, music and of course visuals.

The hasty hero pushes himself far beyond his limitations and goes beyond the speed of light to reverse the damage done by the Unity, and the slow motion (an overused trope in the DCEU) actually works well and lets every detail of Barry’s actions be seen with the utmost clarity.

It was visually satisfying to watch the damage being reversed and let audiences appreciate the VFX team's Herculean efforts in perfectly rendering such a complex sequence. Furthermore, seeing the Flash cut loose like this bodes well for the set pieces in his upcoming solo film.
