10 Most Visually Arresting Moments In The DCEU

2. No Man's Land - Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman’s more tonally balanced approach meant that audiences were treated to a film that had its fair share of joyous and solemn moments. Visually, the film may have been burdened with sometimes lacklustre CGI, but it made up for it with its lush cinematography and vibrant colour grading

Its most iconic scene is the No Man’s Land sequence, which both acted as a summary of Diana’s character and a thrilling action set piece. Her first steps onto the desolate battlefield are captured in a way that shows the Amazon’s determination and bravery.

Also, her armour's bright colours helps her stand out in the dour landscape and serves as a visual representation of her status as a shining beacon of hope. The cherry on top was seeing the heroine deflect everything thrown at her and still powering forward to save the village on the other side of the battlefield.

It is no wonder this scene is regarded as the movie's standout, and generally one of the DCEU's best executed set pieces to date.
