9. Glenn Danzig's Ge Rouge

Glen Danzig is great. As a rockstar, at the very least. He's also very possibly one of the strangest people you'd ever encounter if you had the good fortune to meet him and could have been Wolverine if a scheduling conflict hadn't stopped him attending the audition he was invited to by Fox.

He's also a purveyor of adult comic books - under the publishing banner of Verotika (a portmanteau of 'violent' and 'erotic' to give you an indication of what they publish). And he has aspirations to turn some of the more notorious titles into movies, following the 2006 porn adaptation of Edward Lee's Grub Girl comic (watch it if you want to be HAUNTED).

Danzig is now working on making Ge Rouge into a film, despite the fact that most agree that the comic is awful and little more than "Slash’n’gore with !*$%’n’bums galore" and no plot to speak of. There's voodoo though, which might be interesting. Quite how Danzig thinks he'll get it past censors is another matter.
