8. The Beach Bum

The Beach Bum sounds very much like it's being made by two very different people. One of them is trying to make a character piece starring Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill, Isla Fisher and Zac Efron with the same sort of biting social commentary as director Harmony Korine put into previous work Spring Breakers. That sounds great.

The other, far more outrageous person, is clearly trying to make something more like a sleazy comedy, with character designs looking like Enzo Amore's vacation wardrobe, Snoop Dogg playing a character called Lingerie, McConaughey as a stoner called Moondog and Martin Lawrence involved. How can those two visions possibly be for the same movie?!

As an indication of how ridiculous it might be (and how incredibly unlikeable the characters are DEFINITELY going to be), here's what Zac Efron will look like...
