And finally, we end with one of the most WTF movies of the entire year - Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.

The infamous indie slasher, which adapted A. A. Milne and E. H. Shepard's legendary characters into murderous monsters, begins as it means to go on, with a thoroughly unhinged animated prologue which reveals that Pooh and his pals resorted to cannibalism once Christopher Robin left Hundred Acre Wood for college.

Without Christopher Robin keeping them well-fed, Pooh decided that the gang must consume one of their own, and selected poor Eeyore.

Though the film thankfully doesn't show Eeyore being killed and eaten, the implication is horrific enough, that everyone's favourite depressed grey donkey was forced off his mortal coil for the sake of the remaining group's sustenance.

Unsurprisingly, this had a deeply traumatic impact on Pooh, Piglet, and the others, solidifying their hatred of Christopher Robin and humanity as a whole, prompting them to renounce their civilised traits and return to a feral, animalistic state.

This is in no way a good movie, but that opening sequence sure is tough to shake for anyone who grew up with the delightful source material.
