2. Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis
Francis Ford Coppola is one of the most acclaimed directors of all time and for years he planned a massive science fiction film that was to take place in a futuristic New York City. He made three studio movies in the 90's in order to obtain the funds necessary for the project but unfortunately the terrorist attacks on 9/11 made the prospect of filming a dystopian movie in New York unfeasible for the near future. Francis Ford Coppola has seemed to have moved on from the project by now which is unfortunate since the thought of the director of The Godfather movies writing and directing a huge futuristic sci-fi film is one of the most intriguing projects one could think of.
