10 Movie Actors About To Play Totally Against Type

9. Tom Holland As A Drug-Addicted Bank Robber - Cherry

Tom Holland doesn't have a ton of movie credits to his name, being just 23 years of age and all, but between his fantastic work as Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and his other movie roles, he's generally been cast as boyishly charming, squeaky-clean young men.

But Holland looks set to break that casting mould with his new movie, Cherry, which recently started shooting with Avengers filmmakers the Russo brothers at the helm.

Holland will play Nico Walker, the author of the autobiographical novel on which the film is based, a PTSD-afflicted Army medic who, after becoming addicted to drugs and falling into debt, turns to robbing banks.

It's one hell of a hook, and from the single image released so far, Holland sure looks keen to dirty up his friendly, approachable image with something grittier and more intimidating.

Despite his slight stature, he looks like he means business, and like Pattinson, there's absolutely no reason to doubt his ability to pull this off.
