10 Movie Characters Destined To Be Killed Off

Poor Keanu Reeves. Years after making his mark on action movie history as The Matrix’s stoic hacker hero/ selfless sacrificial lamb Neo, he’s once again busting blocks and kicking asses as “retired” assassin John Wick, and as the series runs on and Reeves ages it’s looking more and more likely that the end of The Matrix Revolutions won’t be his last heroic sacrifice onscreen.

Let’s look at the facts—yes, John Wick may be thinking he’s back, and the last three films have provided ample evidence that the hitman is nigh-on indestructible. However, he’s now cut a swathe through the criminal underworld on three separate occasions, and those killing sprees are bound to eventually come back to bite him.

Just check what director Chad Stahleski had to say about a final instalment in a recent interview with Indiewire:

"John may survive all this s**t, but at the end of it, there’s no happy ending. He’s got nowhere to go… Do you think he’s going to ride off into the f***ing sunset?... If you’re this f***ing guy, if this guy really exist[ed], how is this guy’s day going to end? He’s f***ed for the rest of his life. It’s just a matter of time”.

Reeves himself says he'll continue to make sequels until they stop being successful - which might not be any time soon, but the time will definitely come and it seems the only way he'll go is in a blaze of glory.
