Coldness may be putting this lightly here, but make no mistake about it, Megatron, the all-powerful leader of the Decepticons as shown in Michael Bay's first live action Transformers movie is rendered completely useless thanks to nothing more than wind chill. The Arctic ice is sort of understandable, but how come he didn't thaw out in transportation? That must have taken a seriously powerful refrigerator truck. What offsets the balance of Megatron's disabling is the fact that he had travelled through space to reach Earth, which must surely mean that he went through temperatures much colder than you'd expect to face even in the coldest oceans on the planet. Megatron, whilst in the facility, is not shown to be encased in ice either, so it's not as if he was being physically restrained by heavy blocks, he was literally immobilised by something which would not have been as cold as he would have felt whilst travelling to Earth in the first place. Michael Bay's movies do tend to have a history of making little sense, but this one is particularly grating, as it reduces the feared leader of a race of renegade robot-aliens into a huge lumbering simpleton who is unable to control his body temperature.
