Chris Redfield served as one of the original heroes in the Resident Evil games. Together with Jill Valentine, he took down Albert Wesker and escaped the Spencer Mansion. The character made numerous appearances in the franchise, most recently in 2021's Resident Evil: Village.

But when this beloved franchise were adapted into films, there were lots of changes. Most notably, the film series had Alice as its main protagonist. Thankfully, the sequels added more elements from the games.

In Resident Evil: Afterlife, fans finally got to see Chris Redfield on the big screen. Played by Prison Break's Wentworth Miller, he reunited with his sister, Claire. The siblings even managed to have a fight scene with Albert Wesker, the film's villain.

Unfortunately, the character was absent for Resident Evil: Retribution. The opening of the film had Alice captured though her companions were nowhere to be found. As the story progressed, the siblings' fates were not brought up.

While Claire eventually returned for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, her brother did not. It's a shame then that the film series wasted iconic characters such as Chris.
