2. The Beast in Beauty and the Beast
Of course there are a million renditions of this story, but I'll stick with the Disney one and not the old French or the Ron Perlman version because the 1991 cartoon is the one that will likely indoctrinate your children. Here's the story. A literal beast kidnaps a man, then trades his victim for his beautiful young daughter. He tries to force her to have a dinner date with him, and yells at her for looking at a flower. Then the monster-faced creature battles with his major depressive disorder, then fights a guy until he dies. After that, the pretty young girl tells her hideous captor she loves him. Romantic, right?
