2. Becky - Fall
The recently released Fall is a stomach-knottingly suspenseful thriller in which two thrill-seeking friends, Becky (Grace Caroline Currey) and Hunter (Virginia Gardner), decide to climb a 2,000 foot radio tower just for the hell of it.
In the early going, Becky is extremely uneasy about doing so. Having recently suffered through the accidental death of her husband and battling depressive alcoholism as a result, she's in no mental or physical condition to be performing a challenging climb, and lets Hunter know this.
Yet Hunter, an extroverted social media "personality," convinces her to carry out the treacherous climb regardless.
And of course, this ends up being something they both deeply regret: the pair end up stuck at the top of the tower when the ladder breaks, and though Becky survives the ordeal by the skin of her teeth, Hunter sadly isn't quite so lucky.
When your lizard brain tells you not to climb a rickety-looking radio tower in the middle of the desert, it's for damn good reason.
