8. Goose (Top Gun)
Goose is my favourite character in Top Gun, everyone else is a dick. Goose is just a decent, piano playing pilot who is dedicated to his wife and kid. Maverick is basically a complete and utter bell and it is only Goose's calming influence that keeps him from doing something stupid. That is until Maverick starts flying crazy and then eventually kills him by being a total loon in the cockpit and rather then getting kicked out of the Air Force, goes on to become the hero. Goose deserved more than this, he could have just been injured so bad they had to discharge him, it still would have been sad for him but at least it would be slightly fairer on the poor guy.
