10 Movie Characters Whose Fates Were Left Frustratingly Unresolved

Another 2019 release, so another SPOILER WARNING!!!!!! However, unlike Midsommar, another A24 release, High Life opts for the much more abstract and low key ending.

High Life is a very unique film, and a lot of the time chooses very visual, emotional and primal ways to tell its story of a man and his daughter alone on a space craft in the black void of outer space. In one way High Life is a sci-fi thriller dealing with high-concept ideas, and in another way it's simply about a single father trying his best to raise his daughter.

Towards the end of the movie, Monte and his daughter Willow board a shuttle from their ship in order to enter a black hole. Once they're in, they hold each other's hand whilst a bright yellow light shines down on them.

Now, High Life brought Aurelien Barrau in to be a consultant on the movie, and he's a physicist and black-hole expert. Clearly they're dedicated to scientific accuracy? So where was the spaghettification (that's a scientific term yes) of Monte and Willow once they entered this black hole, and how did light even come from this black hole? Black holes are mysterious enough in real life. All we know, is that if you fall into a black hole, you're dead. Done. Finished.

So what the Hell happened to these characters??!
