3. Anton Chigurh - No Country For Old Men (2007)
Paramount VantageJavier Bardem's Academy Award-winning performances as psychopathic hitman Anton Chigurgh is one of the great supporting turns of the 21st Century, and it is a true testament to the actor's ability that he manages to keep the character as a cold, calculating and almost otherworldly presence despite a haircut that makes him look like a reject from the Monkees. Co-star Josh Brolin claimed that sporting such an awful head of hair sent Bardem spiraling into depression, while it even got a mention in the actor's Academy Awards acceptance speech as 'one of the most horrible haircuts in history', which is fair enough really. If anything, the character's hairstyle only enhances his aura as its not often you see someone in Texas sporting such a look, least of all a bolt-gun wielding killer.
