1. Any Character Played By Jackie Chan (Various)
Jackie Chan is an absolute monster. To look at him, you'd think that at a mere 5' 8" tall and weighing in at only 160lbs, he'd be a weakling, but he is enormously skilled in martials arts and absolutely hard as nails. Chan usually plays characters who are cheerful and friendly or quiet and humble but, when it comes down to defending themselves, they kick some serious ass. His characters are resourceful, using everything from ladders to the shirts on their own backs as weapons, and Jackie even does his own stunts and has suffered some horrific injuries following his daredevil escapades. From his role as Mr. Han in the modern version of
Karate Kid to his role as Jimmy Tong in
The Tuxedo, all of his characters tend to appear harmless at face value, but always end up making the tough-looking guys seem like chumps. Jackie Chan and his characters epitomise the term 'tough as nails, but really don't look it'.
