10 Movie Endings Your A**hole Friend Saw Coming From A Mile Away

3. A Beautiful Mind

In the mood for a psychological thriller but not wanting to hear your friend€™s gushing over why Fight Club is the greatest movie of all time after The Dark Knight, you opted to enjoy a lower-key movie that you hadn€™t gotten around to seeing like A Beautiful Mind instead. To your relief, your friend€™s complaints at first stuck to how much of a hack Ron Howard is and how Ron Howard€™s daughter shouldn€™t have been in Spider-Man 3 and only got in because Ron Howard is a hack. But as Act Two got going, your friend stopped. His eyebrows twitched and crinkled a bit as he caught on to something to notice, especially since, as was alluded to in the Vanilla Sky section, like all of our friends with these personality traits, he has a particular affection for figuring out if things in a movie are really happening or not. He started pointing out inconsistencies in the world around Russell Crowe€™s character. €œWhy isn€™t anyone else talking to his friend? Why aren€™t the pigeons flying away from his friend€™s daughter? Why isn€™t his friend€™s daughter getting old? This can€™t be real! What? Oh, I said it can€™t be real. See? Here, let me rewind it and show you what I noticed. I bet I€™m right. Here, look. We probably have to pay attention to THIS.€
