10 Movie Heroes Who Failed (And Were Saved By Wimps)

This 2005 movie put a comedic twist on the TV series of the same name. Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson star as the 1970s era cops whose mission is to find and stop a drug kingpin, Reese Feldman (Vince Vaughn), who is preparing to distribute undetectable cocaine.

Despite rigorous investigation, the pair ultimately bungle the arrest and Feldman is able to escape on his yacht. For added failure, Starsky and Hutch crash their car into the ocean while pursuing Feldman.

The one who saves the day is Huggy Bear (Snoop Dogg) of all people. Huggy is an extremely cool but undeniably wimpy informant. Notice how he cowered when Starsky fired a shot at his pet iguana and how he couldn't handle the pain of a bit of tape being ripped off his chest? Case closed.

Huggy sneaks onto the absconding Feldman's yacht, knocks him out, and recovers the ill-gotten drug money. He evidently skimmed some of the money for himself but still, he saved the day.
