25 years after Michael Jordan teamed up with Bugs Bunny and the rest of the Looney Tunes in the classic Space Jam, LeBron James will bring his talents to the big screen to continue the franchise's legacy as the title would suggest.

The plot is set to be based around James having to rescue his missing son, while navigating the evil plan of Don Cheadle's Al-G, and as with the first movie there will be a handful of cameos from other NBA stars.

While no one is going to go into this movie expecting anything Oscar-worthy, as long as it is as fun as the first audiences will be happy. The one thing the movie does need to do, however, is pay tribute to the late Kobe Bryant.

One of the greatest to ever play the game, Bryant and his daughter Gianna were tragically killed in a helicopter crash in January 2020, something that affected not only the basketball community, but the world. Kobe was an icon and an inspiration to many, including LeBron James, and many fans believe that Space Jam 2 should be dedicated to his and Gianna's memory in 2021.
