6. The Wizard of Oz
The Plot: Dorothy hates her life, so she's whisked into a maybe-magic/maybe-dream world where she's forced to go on a giant quest to stop two evil witches. After spending days of suffering to reach this goal, she learns that the whole journey has been a lie; she had what she wanted from the very beginning.
The Solution: ...yeah, I don't know if I need to say anything to this. She had the answer from the get-go. Just say "there's no place like home" enough times, and she'd return home. That's it. Rather straight forward. Again, this is a case where the journey is more important than the destination, but it seems a little crazy that Glinda sent Dorothy all over Oz...
