10 Movie Props That Appeared In More Than One Film

2. This Newspaper

Newspaper DoneWhere You've Seen It: No Country For Old Men, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), A Murder Of Crows, as well as countless TV shows such as Modern Family, Married...With Children, Angel, Scrubs and Desperate Housewives If you pause the screen and look very closely at the newspaper in some of the aforementioned works, you can read the headlines "She's 3rd Brightest But Hard 'Gal' To See." or "Compromised Housing Bill Sent to President for OK." This damn newspaper has been all over our screen for decades, yet it's prominence has only recently been called to light. Because being granted clearance from using actual publications is usually more trouble than it's worth, Hollywood turned to the Earl Hays Press for their daily news. But apparently it's been the same day for 50 years, since the paper in question was printed in the 60s. It's one of those things that once you've seen it, it's impossible to unsee, and has cursed many a detail-oriented viewer with the inability to let a newspaper scene pass by without checking to see if it's THE newspaper. But then again, this is old news anyway.
