10 Movie Props That Appeared In More Than One Film

1. License Plate 2GAT123

2gat123 DoneWhere You've Seen It: Beverly Hills Cop II, K-9, Go, When A Man Loves A Woman, Training Day, Harsh Times, Be Cool, Pay It Forward, Traffic, Mulholland Drive, Role Models & many more If the police were to put out an APB on license number 2GAT123 their computers would explode. Out of all the props on this list, this one probably has the lengthiest filmography. Appearing primarily in films set in California, the license plate is the vehicular equivalent of a "555" number, in that the particular combination has been earmarked for movie productions. The California Department of Motor Vehicles does not issue plates with the three letter combination "GAT". The tag has graced the front of luxury Jaguars, beat up Hondas, police cars and taxis and there's no doubt many more to come. Hopefully some set designer with a sense of humor places it on an X-Wing fighter in Star Wars Episode VII. Well, there you have it. A tribute to Hollywood's spendthrift resourcefulness. Can you think of any often-reused props that we missed? Let us know in the comments below.
