1. F This Movie!
Released: Mondays at FThisMovie.net Speaking of interesting and thoughtful discussions, have you heard of F This Movie? It is my absolute favorite film podcast and if you haven't had the chance of tuning in, I highly recommend it. The show began in 2010, and each week host Patrick Bromley discusses a film with one of his friends. Each show features someone different, as four or five regular guests rotate each week depending on who wants to talk about the film at hand. They don't just cover new releases, but more often than not talk about older films of all genres. The talk is always incredibly detailed and interesting, but insanely fun to listen to due to the great relationships that Bromley has with his guests. Each person brings a unique perspective to the show, keeping it fresh each week. What truly makes the show fun to listen to is the fact that the team behind it just
love movies, and are unapologetic about the films they enjoy (and, frankly, those they hate). Other than listening to the show, you should also check out their website, which is updated daily with movie reviews and columns from everyone who participates on the show. Each member has their own column or two that they write each week, and each weekend they offer a question for fans to weigh-in on in the comments. They also host fun events on the site, such as a Twitter-centered film marathon called F This Movie Fest, and Scary Movie Month. During the month of October the site and podcast are completely devoted to horror films. Then, at the end of the year, they have two recap shows: one featuring their favorite films of the year, the other featuring the Underrated, Overrated, and Ugly. It's a show I discovered earlier this year and frantically listened to until I ran out of episodes. I now wait impatiently each week for the show to appear in my feed and frequent the site regularly. If you love movies, you'll love F This Movie. And there you have it! 10 movie-related podcasts you should be listening to. Obviously, there are countless more shows out there worth tuning in to, so I want to know: what shows do
you recommend that didn't make my list?
