10 Movie Scenes Everyone Gets Wrong

6. Harry & Hermione's Dance Isn't Romantic - Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows - Part 1

Arguably one of the best scenes in the entire Harry Potter franchise occurs in Deathly Hallows - Part 1, when Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and Hermione (Emma Watson) reach a major nadir in their quest to destroy Voldemort's (Ralph Fiennes) Horcruxes and find some levity by sharing a dance.

Harry gets Hermione to dance to Nick Cave's iconic "O Children," allowing the pair some much-needed human warmth during an extreme low point in their journey, where even Ron (Rupert Grint) has seemingly abandoned them.

For a few brief moments, they're able to forget their woes and enjoy each other's company - as friends.

Yet many fans, book lovers or not, interpret the scene as romantic, that it's teeing up a love story between the two, as though a male and female dancing can't ever be anything but sexually inclined.

It's clear the pair are finding comfort in one another at a majorly fraught time, and despite what some fans/shippers will swear blind, it's nothing more than a pure, wholesome sliver of light amid a mostly dour and depressing movie.
