10 Movie Sequels That Will NEVER Be Made
2. Kill Bill: Volume 3
Across his long and fruitful career, Quentin Tarantino has only made one sequel, and he only did that because the studio wouldn't let him make it one long film.
Kill Bill: Volumes 1 and 2 were shot at the same time, before getting chopped up into two movies that were released six months apart. Uma Thurman stars as the sword-wielding Bride, hell bent on bringing the eponymous Bill to justice after he tried to kill her.
Her version of "justice" is chopping his head off, in case you were wondering.
Considering there are already two parts to this tale of violence, revenge, and inappropriately named cars, fans have long wondered if QT will ever return to round out the trilogy. The answer - no. No he won't.
Though he had spoken before about bringing the Bride back, and perhaps casting Thurman's own daughter, Maya Hawke, as her in-universe child, Tarantino stated in 2023 that Volume 3 was never going to happen.
The auteur is said to be working on his "final film", called The Movie Critic, but come on, when has anyone actually stepped away from showbusiness and then stuck to it?
