10 Movie Sequels You Didn't Know Were Coming In 2020

8. Peter Rabbit 2

Quiet Place
Sony Pictures Releasing

2018's Peter Rabbit was a major hit for Sony, having a strong hold at the box-office from weekend-to-weekend, eventually earning back more than seven times its budget. Its performance clearly ruffled a few whiskers over at the studio, who greenlit a sequel just a few months after the original opened.

Set for March 2020 in the UK (a date that ensures it'll be in cinemas throughout the Easter holidays), Peter Rabbit 2 will once again have Will Gluck on writer-director duties, and presumably, James Corden will return to voice the title character, though curiously, his involvement has not yet been officially confirmed (he's probably negotiating for a bit more wallet lettuce).

That UK release date means the film will be up against Disney's live-action remake of Mulan, so it will be interesting to see which property is able to corner more of the family market.
