10 Movie Sequels You Forgot Were Coming In 2020
6. Fast And Furious 9
Yes, the petrol-fueled franchise that still shows no sign of slowing down is back again with a release set for May 22.
Vin Diesel's star-packed vehicle will return once again to probably break all kinds of box-office records and shatter as many laws of physics along the way as it possibly can.
However one notable character who won't be returning is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson after helming last year's Hobb's And Shaw alongside Jason Statham.
There will still be more than a few familiar faces returning to the franchise, including Charlize Theron as Furious 8's villain Ramsey, Dame Helen Mirren, and most interestingly of all, Jordanna Brewster.
Brewster has played sister Mia to Diesel's Dom since the first instalment in the franchise and later became the lover and mother to the children of the late Paul Walker's character Brian. Could Brewsters' return also potentially include an appearance from beyond the grave yet again for Paul Walker?
We certainly hope not as Furious 7 very respectfully laid that character to rest, and bringing him back again might seem like a good idea, but could spoil the loving send-off that Brian and Paul both received from the franchise.
