10 Movie Sequels You Forgot Were Coming In 2020
3. The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard
Coming this summer is the follow-up to the somewhat successful action-comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson.
Scheduled for release on August 28, the film will pick up three years after the original and see Reynolds and Jackson's character team up to rescue and protect Salma Hayek's Sonia from new threats that have emerged since the last outing.
Whilst not the most spectacular comedy to be released in recent years, the trio of Jackson, Reynolds, and Hayek, are strong enough leads that we could see the film potentially follow-up and deliver more strongly than the original.
With the added addition of Frank Grillo, Morgan Freeman, Antonio Banderas and Tom Hooper there is surely enough extra star power behind The Hitman's Wifes's Bodyguard to at least match the same takings at the box office as its predecessor.
Although that title is still a bit of a mouthful if you ask us.
