10 Movie Sequels You Forgot Were Coming In 2020

Fans of the legendary Kaiju franchise do not have long to wait for the hotly anticipated modern adaptation of the classic monster grudge-match.

Following just over a year after the release of 2019's monster-blockbuster Godzilla: King Of The Monsters, the sequel will be throwing none other than the King Of The Apes himself, Kong, into the ring against his gargantuan reptilian opponent.

After almost four years of waiting, fans will see Kong back where he belongs on the big screen, and allegedly not very happy with what's been going down in the world post-Godzilla and other legendary monsters re-emergence.

While much of the cast from the previous Godzilla entry will be returning, franchise newcomer Alexander Skarsgård will play the role of a geologist who works closely with Kong, and will be a "reluctant hero" for the new film, whilst Eisa González has also joined the cast and stated the film will have some comedic elements to it.

We hope that whatever those comedic elements are they don't distract too much from the spectacle everyone will no doubt be most focussed on. Two giant monsters beating the snot out of each other.
