10 Movie Spoilers For 2018 That We Already Know

After years of clamoring and anticipation, Pixar is finally giving us the sequel we've all been dying to see. When the first film came out in 2004, Pixar wasn't a studio that made many sequels, with the only one on their résumé being Toy Story 2. But since then, they've cranked out sequels to a great many of their hits, and even misfires like Cars 2.

So you can understand the frustration of the collective population that the sole film in their repertoire to end on a set-up for future adventures, had yet to actually give us any future adventures. But our long nightmare is nearly over, as this summer sees the release of Incredibles 2.

Although its been thirteen agonizing years in our world, we won't have missed a beat in theirs. As indicated by the marketing, director Brad Bird confirmed at D23 that the film will pick up immediately after the first film. This is complimented by the first and only teaser trailer, which features Mr. Incredible rejoicing over the revelation that Jack-Jack has powers.

Fans of the original will remember that that film ended with a new baddie, The Underminer, showing up, and our heroes springing into action just before the credits rolled. Emphasis on the fact that the film will be picking up "45 seconds" from where we left off in 2004, seems to heavily stress that the film will open on the super-family taking down the villain.
