10 Movie Spoilers For 2018 That We Already Know

3. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom - A Second Location

Following the release of its first trailer last month, fans were not feeling great about the upcoming Jurassic World sequel. For many (this writer included), the trailer had far too many shades of the oft-detested second and third Jurassic Park films for comfort.

Alongside this, the trailer seemed to just flat-out be looking to spoil the movie itself, even going so far as including a hero moment for the T-Rex, a move usually reserved for the finale of the film.

To soothe the fears naysayers, writer/producer Colin Trevorrow took to Twitter to reveal even more information about the film.

"Everything in the trailer is from the first 57 minutes."

Seeing as the trailer ends with the long-standing island of Isla Nublar being utterly destroyed by a sudden volcano, Trevorrow's comments suggest that the film will then move to a second location. Thanks to supplemental material, such as behind-the-scenes featurettes, released alongside the trailer, and set-photos, we know that a large portion of the film will take place in a mansion.

More specifically, the mansion of one Benjamin Lockwood, a scientist set to be introduced in this film who has ties with original park creator, John Hammond. Lockwood is sure to be a nefarious figure in the new film, what with his black cane and imposingly gothic decor, making it a more than safe bet that following the destruction of the island, our heroes will relocate to Lockwood's mansion, only to discover that he's the true monster.
