No set leak has sparked as much fervent discussion as the jaw-dropping images from the Avengers 4 set, which appear to depict Chris Evans in his classic stars-and-stripes Captain America outfit while shooting an action sequence bearing a suspicious similarity to The Avengers' Battle of New York.

To make things even weirder, Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) was also snapped on-set, suggesting that a big part of Avengers 4's narrative will see the surviving Avengers travelling back through time - or to an alternate dimension - in order to defeat Thanos.

It's been speculated that the team may be attempting to acquire their own Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity Stones in order to reverse the Mad Titan's damage, though the set leaks make no reference to that.

It remains to be seen how Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) will facilitate their time or dimensional travel, though another set leak did show the presence of Stark's B.A.R.F. technology from Captain America: Civil War, suggesting he may have adapted it to not only explore memories but also space time.

Otherwise, it's quite probable that the Quantum Realm will be the key to the Battle of New York getting a do-over. Either way, it's one of those awesome leaks that only heightens excitement and intrigue surrounding Avengers 4, raising at least as many questions as it answers.
