8. Hawkeye Doesn't Die In Age Of Ultron, Was Supposed To Be In The Winter Soldier

There have been a lot of rumours circulating and anecdotes told by both Jeremy Renner and the Russo brothers that have created some confusion as to what might happen to Hawkeye in Age of Ultron. Some have thought that Hawkeye's bigger role in Avengers 2 would lead to his death, but since Renner has spoken about possibly taking on a supporting or cameo role in Cap 3 those rumours would appear to be groundless. The directors of The Winter Soldier also went into a little bit of detail about the Hawkeye sequence they wanted to film but never got the chance to due to Renner's scheduling conflicts. An action scene in action would see Hawkeye chasing Cap to the outskirts of the city before secretly warning him that he was being tracked by a Hydra-run SHIELD and telling him to knock him out to make it seem like they weren't in cahoots. Co-director Anthony Russo also spoke to MTV about the rumblings that Captain America 3 will be Chris Evans' last film as Steve Rogers, with the character dying before the closing credits:
