2. The Russo Brothers Could Direct The Avengers 3 & 4

The probability that Joss Whedon, who directed the original Avengers movie and is currently working on the follow-up, will return for a third movie is relatively slim, which means that Marvel will be looking to find somebody who can fill his massive, talented boots. According to recent speculation, however, they might have found their man - or men - in the Russo Brothers, who recently directed Captain America 2. There's not much else to this story besides a vague whiff of rumour, but it makes sense from a studio perspective, given that the Russo Brothers have been appointed to helm Captain America 3, presumably after they did such a good job on the second installment. And having the same directors in charge as the Civil War arc approaches will obviously help the movies to feel like a fluid whole - a necessary thing.
