2. Eddie Redmayne Will Probably Play The Lead In That Harry Potter Spin-Off

Warner Bros. are sitting on a huge cash cow with the Harry Potter franchise - except that they've run out of movies. Now it's time to milk that cash cow for all its worth, of course, and so Harry Potter movie spin-offs are a thing. The first of which, by the way, is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which will be based on a small Harry Potter book (written for charity), except not - just the concept, and its main character, one Newt Scamander. And according to a series of recent reports, Eddie Redmayne - star of Les Miserables and The Theory of Everything (for which he won an Oscar for Best Actor) - is either about to sign on (or has actually signed on) to play the leading role. Which - should it happen - sounds absolutely perfect, to be honest: Redmayne would totally make sense in a spin-off! The film, set in New York a whopping 70 years before the events of Harry Potter, poises Scamander as a "magi-zoologist," which means that this movie is going to be bonkers.
