6. Jon Snow Is Almost Definitely Dead, Then (Probably)
Last week, one of the Game of Thrones' most popular characters, Jon Snow, met an unexpected end when he was betrayed by his own men and stabbed to death, like, a hundred times. This led to a breaking of the internet, of course, though many fans felt that the scene was rendered somewhat ambiguous, meaning that Snow could've survived. But that's not what the people who made the show think. Here's what D.B. Weiss, one of the show's producers, said about Jon Snow's death:
"We would hope that after seeing the scene and the way its shot that the answer to that will be unambiguous in the minds of the people watching it. It should be pretty clear what happens in by the time youre done seeing that scene. Its not an, Oh what just happened? scene."
Sounds like Snow is definitely dead, then, right? And here's what Kit Harrington, Jon Snow himself, had to say on the demise of his character:
"This is my understanding of it. I had a sit-down with Dan and David, we did the Tony Soprano walk . And they said, Look, youre gone, its done.
Yeah. Doesn't sound like he's coming back anytime soon, guys. Sorry.
