8. That Harry Potter Spin-Off Movie Will Feature The "American Hogwarts" - Or Something

"Dude, nice wand." Just one of the many hilarious lines that could very well feature in the upcoming Harry Potter spin-off movie, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, given J.K. Rowling's recent announcement on Twitter with regards to an "American version" of Hogwarts. Fans already know that the film - which stars Eddie Redmayne as magizoologist Newt Scamander - is to be partly set in New York, of course, but it wasn't until Rowling recent unveiled her plans to include an American School of Witchcraft and Wizardry that the world even knew such a thing actually existed (though it has been long suspected). When asked on Twitter whether Newt would visit a school in New York, Rowling replied:
"No, but he's going to meet people who were educated at in ."
Which, vague as it is, essentially confirms the existence of an American version of Hogwarts - albeit one that is not located in New York.
