6. Nuclear Man (Superman IV: The Quest For Peace)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=chdVDWYR6Ac Alright, so the above clip is a remix of an actual scene from Superman IV, but it gets the point across - Nuclear Man (played by Mark Pillow) is a crappy bad guy, and a lot of it is down to the delivery of his dialogue. However, this isn't exactly Pillow's fault; for one, the script is terrible, and most startlingly, the lines were in fact dubbed over by Gene Hackman (yes, that sorta awesome Oscar-winning acting legend who played Lex Luthor). If coming up with a baddie to match Superman wasn't already a challenge, the guys behind this movie didn't help themselves at all, did they? Nuclear Man came about from the combination of some Superman DNA and a nuclear explosion (yes, really), but is super-lame because he can only use his Superman-esque powers in sunlight. Oh, and he has radioactive nails which he uses to scratch Superman. So tough. In the end Superman overpowers a nuclear reactor and throws Nuclear Man into it, and by that point we're all glad that the film is pretty much over. Dreadful.
