10 Movie Villains Who Will Kick Ass In 2019

2. Thanos (Avengers 4)

Thanos (High Res)
Marvel Studios

Next to nothing is known about Avengers 4's plot, but we do know that Thanos will once again appear. Given his profound victory at the end of Infinity War, the character will be in an interesting position come the start of the sequel: what exactly will be the catalyst that brings him into conflict with the Avengers?

No matter what that may be, the Mad Titan has already proven himself as a menacing, ruthless, and ridiculously strong antagonist, as seen when he embarrassed the Hulk, made Iron Man's tech look like toys, and swatted pretty much every major Avenger aside on his way to collect the Mind Stone.

He's driven, focused, and will stop at nothing to achieve his goals, and while we don't know what they are yet - probably something to do with stopping the Avengers undoing his snap - there's a damn good chance he'll accomplish them.

The only thing that might diminish his impact is the fact that the Infinity Gauntlet looked pretty beat up the last time we saw it, and the character himself had suffered a severe stab injury to the chest. However, Thanos managed to beat up Hulk with no Gauntlet powers whatsoever, so even when powerless and hurt, he's still going to be a monster of an enemy for the Avengers to face.

In 2022, he took charge of WhoCulture and has grown it into the biggest Doctor Who channel on YouTube, and one of the biggest Doctor Who communities on the web full-stop. He has been writing and video editing since his early teens, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers, off the back of a burning obsession with the Matt Smith era of the show. Like many his age, he first got into Doctor Who with the 2005 revival, but has since gone back and fallen in love with the classic years too.
