It was quite the wait, but eventually, people finally got the truth.

The film tells the story behind the famous Frost/Nixon interviews of 1977. In 1972, five men were arrested after breaking into the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee, the Watergate Office Building. The incident became forever known as the Watergate Scandal, and years of investigations, resulted in 400 million people watching President Nixon resign in 1974.

The public demanded Nixon confess to his involvement in the scandal and the attempted cover up, but Nixon always denied the allegations. That is, until he attended a series of interviews with one David Frost.

Frost saw the interviews as a chance to give people the closure they so desperately craved, while Nixon saw them as an opportunity to rebuild his image. What follows is Frost and his teams efforts to try and find a way to get Nixon to come clean about everything.

Frost/Nixon is a must watch, not just because of the historical context of the interviews, but because of the intensity of the interviews themselves and the overwhelming desire to hear the former President say what everyone wants to hear him say.
