10 Movies That Changed Your Mind About Actors You Loved

5. Bruce Willis - A Good Day To Die Hard

Bruce Willis has been riding his "bald, sardonic tough guy" schtick into the ground for years, but it wasn't until he reached the apex (and by apex we mean "worst point") of this performance type in A Good Day To Die Hard that the world collectively agreed that they'd had enough. That's to say, Bruce Willis, once one of cinema's most charming and likeable action heroes, has transformed into a sort of washed-out relic who can't help but make the same movies over and over again. A Good Day To Die Hard simply showed us that Bruce doesn't give a sh*t about "quality." From the get-go, it's clear that Willis is on autopilot here, and presumably went along to play John McClan again for the chance to cash a sizeable paycheck. Fans had been putting up with the same, tired action schlock from Willis for ages (think about Surrogates or Cop Out - or wait a minute: don't) when A Good Day To Die Hard hit theatres; the only thing the movie managed to do was alienate people who - once upon a time - loved Bruce Willis. It doesn't help, either, that in recent interviews he's proved himself to be a bit of a stiff douchebag in real life. Meh.
