10 Movies From 2017 That Deserve Razzie Awards (But Weren't Nominated)

6. Naked

Josh Trank Fantastic Four
Netflix

2017 was a good year for “noncoms” (non-comedies) and to their number we can now add Naked, the latest in a long line of duff movies starring Marlon Wayans (A Haunted House, Fifty Shades Of Black etc).

The plot is basically Groundhog Day by way of The Hangover: on his wedding day, Wayans wakes up naked in an elevator, gets involved in a series of wacky scrapes as he attempts to make it to church and is then forced to live the same day over and over again. Which admittedly sounds like it could be fun. It’s not.

Not only did the writers (who also penned A Haunted House) forget to add any jokes but the lack of any genuine invention grates and it all becomes mechanical after a while. It’s hard to imagine why anyone would call Bright the worst movie of 2017 when Netflix is producing films like this.
