10 Movies It Was Impossible To Dislike

2. Inception

Inception is one of those rare films that - even though it's in the bracket "science-fiction" - appeals to a broad spectrum of people. I don't know of anyone who didn't appreciate, if nothing else, the cleverness of this movie. Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, an exceptionally talented yet underrated actor alongside Leonardo DiCaprio (who's ongoing lack of Oscar pains me greatly) as well as many others, Inception explores the intriguing concept of "planting a thought" in someone's head. It's complicated, it's fast paced and requires your full attention as well as your imagination in order for you to enjoy it, but it's impossible to dislike this film if you give it just that. The ending is open ended and subsequently you're left contemplating even after the closing credits have rolled €“ what if we're just in someone's dream waiting for that 'kick' to wake us up? Who doesn't love being made to ponder our purpose in the universe? (Just don't watch this film when you're tired or you may just give yourself a brain haemorrhage!)

Hi I'm Beth, a 17 year old girl from the UK who is most often found sat in front of my computer in my room making no noise and pretending I don't exist*. I like coffee (black, two sugars), old books and I'm currently studying the art of procrastination. On a more serious note, I'm currently studying for my A Levels, taking English Literature, English Language, History and Economics. I intend to study either English or Journalism at university. *that's a Harry Potter reference. If you didn't get that, then shame on you.
