10 Movies Interrupted By Horrific Violence In The Cinema
4. X-Men: The Last Stand
Few comic book fans would disagree that Brett Ratner clearly wasn't up to the task of taking over the X-Men franchise from Bryan Singer - it's doubtful, however, that many were so upset that they saw fit to take a gun into the theater and take their anger out on innocent patrons. Whether or not the shooter was motivated by the poor standard of the movie is anyone's guess - around 20 minutes into a screening of X-Men: The Last Stand 24-year-old Mujtaba Jabbar stood up brandishing a gun and ordered everyone on the floor to lie down before shooting the person nearest him. The unfortunate innocent victim died immediately and Jabbar was subsequently arrested, but not before he'd patiently placed his weapon on the lobby counter and informed the manager he'd just killed someone.
