10 Movies Quentin Tarantino Should Make Instead Of The Hateful Eight
7. Agent Orange
A persistent web rumour that came of nothing was that in front of Robert Rodriguez's Machete, a fake trailer directed by Quentin Tarantino would appear for a film called Agent Orange. Set in 1975, Tim Roth would play Agent Ringo Orange, a crazed soldier who wanted to restart the Vietnam War, and other speculated cast members included Rick Yune, Sacha Baron Cohen and Stacy Keach. Machete came and went and we heard nothing of this, indicating it was likely bunk spun by a net nerd who loved the idea of Mr. Orange himself starring in a Tarantino film with a similar name. That said, doesn't this snippet of a premise sound kinda awesome? It would need some serious expansion for sure, but we've all been aching to see Roth reuinted with Tarantino for years, and this could have been a perfect opportunity to see it happen.
