One of the reasons that people hate Twilight is because of how popular it is. If it wasn't so popular maybe it wouldn't be as hated. Regardless, there is a lot of people who really like these movies, but the reason it shouldn't be mentioned as your favorite movie is because it should be relegated to the realm of guilty pleasures. Unless youre a pre-teen girl; then it's perfectly acceptable for it to be your favorite movie. But if youre on the date with someone who says that their favourite movie is a film within the Twilight series, start saying your goodbyes. They may just be too bland and going with the masses, or they have that set up as their prototypical love story, and do you really want to be part of that? Is being a Jacob or an Edward to anyone sound appealing? The other thing you have to worry about is that you are really on a date with a 12-year-old who is lying about their age. Either way, just send a friend a text so they can call you and say its an emergency, allowing you to walk out the door.
