1. The Goonies
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45_Xg3lto_I If there is one movie I love to watch over and over again, it is The Goonies. Hair-brained schemes and childish adventure fuel my own fires to explore and discover, even if it doesnt lead to the golden conclusion as it does for our heroes. This movie is great on its own and, I imagine, the thought of a prequel to this movie could possibly irritate its loyal followers. The Prequel: Everyone in the movie already knows who the goonies are. The popular kids, the richest family in Astoria, even the police force knows the goonies. Who are these kids?! What have they already done in their eleven or so years that have made them so infamous throughout their town? I grew up in a small town and there wasnt any specific group of people that everyone knew by a nickname. And what event led to the ever famous Goonies never say die mantra? Even without the added thrill of the Fratellis, The Goonies prequel could be pretty spectacular.
