10 Movies That Had MASSIVE Tomatometer Drops

7. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom

Wonder Woman 1984
Universal

Initial Score: 69%

Final Score: 47% (22% drop)

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was actually released internationally more than two weeks before it finally landed in the U.S., and the early surge of reviews suggested it was nothing if not a consistent sequel, scoring a decent 69% compared to Jurassic World's 70%.

But over those two weeks, Fallen Kingdom's critical consensus steadily dropped until it settled at a thoroughly mediocre 47%, making it unambiguously clear that the sequel was a disappointment - and also the worst-reviewed film in the series, barely falling below Jurassic Park III's 49%.

It isn't easy to pinpoint the exact reason for the steep drop, beyond North American critics seeing it later and, for some reason, treating it harsher than their international colleagues.
